Here it as at last — the 209-page novel Aim for the Stars, Tie Your Shoes — the adventures of Brandon Wilson as his high-school life goes off the rails as he struggles to bring his incompetence under control.
The doctors in this case are the madcap residents of a quasi-official government agency, the Department of Minor Incompetence Correction. So, is it humorous? Yes. Does it have romance? Yes. Does it have action? Yes. If you can imagine what a literate manga sans pictures would look like, or something in the ballpark of a less-angsty Chris Claremont, then you’re on the right track.
Don’t worry if you’re thinking, “Who? What?” This one has the feels without being overdramatic, the humor without being cheesy, a plot that builds, and the characters that will stick in your head. It goes live this Friday. Until then, check out the pre-release here!
